Optial Smart Start for Operational Risk and Compliance

Standard Reporting

In short, Optial standard reporting gives managers an overview of current activity within their risk management framework, with a complete set of reports for compliance status and risk analytics. Reports can be produced in lists, tables and graphical form. Frequently used reports can be launched in one click directly from the Home Page, or saved as browser favourites and reused. The Organisation Structure forms the basis for the reporting hierarchies via a roll-up paradigm, and matrix organisations are also supported.

Drilldown

Drilldown is supported on all reports, allowing fast and effective access to additional detail on demand. Reporting is even able to interpret the tamper-proof audit trail kept for every change to every business data object, so that you can effectively roll back time to see your entire compliance or risk status as at any previous point in time. This powerful feature is rarely found elsewhere.

Filtering and Exporting List Reports

List reports can be filtered based on effective dates and other criteria, enabling the user to get just the required data. Columns can easily be added, deleted and sorted in different orders. Export options are available, allowing the user to export just the columns visible on the report, or all columns relating to the selected data.

Dashboards

Dashboards, available by a single click from the home page, are an essential component of providing managers with an immediate overview of system activity and red flag items. Reports can be produced graphically, using lists with flexible column selection and one-click sort techniques, or via tree-based selection.

Online Statistics

Users can apply Optial’s Statistics function, included within the core product, to produce statistics and graphs out of the real time system. Optial real-time analysis options support statistical reporting primarily according to the categorisations on the various objects held within the system. A manager can generate such statistics as tables or charts from any list report in the system.

Advanced Search

In any software system, there is always a need to run a query which is not predefined on any menu, which is why Optial’s standard reports are complemented by an integrated Advanced Search engine. These queries are defined and processed immediately online. The resulting lists can be further refined, emailed, printed or saved, using standard browser functionality. Data can also be exported for subsequent import into Excel or other tools. An Advanced Search can be used both for simple text queries such as “all items containing text “Business Risk”, as well as for more complex queries such as “All new high-impact Risks in the European Region containing text “Business Risk”.
