Optial Standard Training
Optial’s standard training is based on a ”Train the Trainer” approach whereby Optial will train the super users from each category of: End Users (core and occasional), Adminstrative Users and Operations Personnel.
Optial project staff train the customer project team during system handover prior to the Functional Test. This will be based on simple training materials and a corresponding training system, which is subsequently used for the Functional Test.
We recommend distinguishing content-based training from system-based training for end-users, as the success of the initiative will also depend on the overall communication strategy of which training is a key part.
The various types of training are:.
- Content-based training
- System-based training
- System administration training.
In addition, for system technical and operations staff, we deliver a full Operations Guide and use the onsite installation session as the opportunity to perform knowledge transfer of all relevant technical system aspects.
End User Training
Where required, we are happy to provide further training to all end users of the system in a classroom style training environment. We have experience of delivering end user training programmes incorporating up to 800 users.
Enterprise Wide Training
We have a good relationship with a number of specialist consulting firms who can provide wider training to our customers who, for instance, have a very large user base or wish to incorporate the training for the use of the Optial system along with training on the organisation’s strategic objectives relating to risk management and their specific risk framework.
